Ashfield Girls High School is very proud of the support received from all members of our school community. This has led to a thriving charity programme, supporting both local and international charities.
Our charity programme really stems from our pupils, with the Student Council and Senior Council identifying, discussing and deciding on the charities we wish to support each year. The Sixth Form Charity committee dedicate many hours to the organisation of each event; and it always amazes the staff just how generous our pupils and families are in supporting each of the events organised each term.
This year the Charity Committee have chosen to support several local charities, including Be Daring for Dylan, Cruse Bereavement Care and the NI Children’s’ Hospice. The fundraising events range from a whole school Sponsored Walk, Non- Uniform days, a Christmas Jumper Day to other year group challenges.
We are delighted to have helped, and will continue to help, so many charities.
